Summary
Whilst the main part of this historic chateau dates back to 1604, it is believed that this itself was built on a Maison Forte with a Keep originating in the 14th Century and Tower from the 15th. These were incorporated into a Gentilhommiere (a country seat), then further expanded to become the chateau it is today. It now comprises a versatile set of buildings - accessed through magnificent gates and along a formal drive, the main body of the chateau comprises four bedrooms. A separate guest wing accommodates another 5, and a two bedroom Guardians' cottage adjacent to the Inner Gates complete the habitable space.
Car enthusiasts are very well catered for - the main garage forming one side of the inner courtyard houses five cars comfortably whilst the Collector's garage and workshops another six. A separate traditional stone barn could be converted to another dwelling (STPP) or alternatively provide shelter for horses and other animals.
