Travel Information

There are now several low-cost operators offering cheap flights to the Dordogne and Gironde:

To Bergerac, Dordogne

To Bordeaux, Gironde

To Toulose,

The above are just a sample. Additional routes between the Midlands and Bergerac are planned to become operational soon. There are also flights from Nottingham East Midlands to Bordeaux and Toulouse and from Manchester to Bordeaux.Les Roches is only 20 minutes drive from Bergerac, 1.5 hours drive from Bordeaux and 2 hours drive from Toulouse.

BY TRAIN

Regular Eurostar train services run from London-Waterloo to Lille and a TGV (high speed train) from the same station in Lille to Bordeaux (total journey time 9 hrs).

Alternatively, there is a TGV from Lille to Libourne where you can change to a train that takes you directly to Bergerac (from Bergerac it is only 15 minutes drive to Les Roches). There are also connections that take you to Marmande, a thirty minute drive away.
