Distressed sales
Distressed sales fall into two groups:
1. properties on our books that are being overtly advertised where owners are desperate to sell (but don’t necessarily like to be advertised as such);
2. liquidation sales and properties in receivership where the process of disposal happens too fast for traditional property marketing to be effective.
In the case of the first situation, please enquire – we would be only too happy to talk you through our current ‘best buys’ that suit your criteria.
In the second situation, we put you first and monitor liquidation sales on your behalf. In order for us to do this legally, we need to be mandated by you to do so under French law – to understand more about mandates please contact us.

How does such a property search exercise work?
The best buys are disposed of very quickly for cash. You need to specify to us clear criteria of what it is you are looking for, including budget, location, size, condition, style and purpose – and you need to have the funds to purchase immediately. We will then liaise with our wide network of professionals (that include bankers, accountants, official receivers, notaires and individuals) to find suitable properties. We will keep in close contact with you regarding our progress, and get information to you quickly for you to make informed decisions remotely. You guide our progress and our direction will follow your lead, and we only get paid on the conclusion of a successful purchase on your part.
